About Pastor

Fr. Andrija Petresin was born in former Yugoslavian republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the age of 13 he went to Rome where he attended High School at the Ukrainian Pontifical Minor Seminary. He later studied Philosophy at the St Josaphat's Major Seminary and Urban University.

In 1999 he attended Holy Spirit Seminary and St. Paul University (Ottawa) where he completed his Theology and in 2005 graduated with a Masters in Religious Education at the University of Toronto

In 2008 Andrija was ordained by Bishop Stephen Chmilar at the Mount Mary Monastery in Ancaster. During that same year with the blessing of Bishop Fr. Andrija was assigned as pastor to an active parish community in Thunder Bay.

Fr Andrija is married to his wife Vera and they have a three year old son David.
